Mandorak Beach
A small white-sand cove guarded by two limestone headlands, a few minutes from Weekuri Lagoon.
The shape of the place
Mandorak is a narrow cove pinched between two tall rock headlands. The swell breaks outside, so the inner cove stays comparatively calm. The sand is white and fine, and the beach is small enough that it rarely feels crowded.
When to come
Late afternoon. The cove faces west, and the sun drops through the gap between the two headlands. That is why we schedule Mandorak after Weekuri on day one.
A word on safety
The inner cove is calm, but the current beyond the gap is strong. Stay inside the line between the two headlands when you swim.
